In this final sermon of our Going Deeper with God series, Luke Prentice explores Psalm 89 and what it teaches us about prayer. Far from being a formula or a set of special words, prayer is an honest and ongoing relationship with God.

Psalm 89 moves from praise and celebration to disappointment, confusion, and lament. Through it, we see that God invites us to bring our whole selves to Him—not just our gratitude and joy, but also our questions, frustrations, and struggles.

Michael Phillips reflects on the past twelve months with gratitude for the grace and support he has received, giving thanks also for the endurance and strength that God has provided, and celebrating the transition undertaken by Ormond Anglican Church.

In his first sermon as vicar of Ormond Anglican Church, Mike encourages us from Psalm 67 and Titus 2:11-14, pointing to the blessings of God for all people.

Furthermore, we have seen God’s blessing and graciousness in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, while we await his return we can all play a part in sharing that blessing and grace with others in our lives no matter our context.

In the context of a funeral, Luke engages with the freedom of forgiveness. Roger's story, Psalm 32 and Matthew 11 help us see this powerful freedom that Jesus brings, which was lived out in this Christian man's life and faith.
