Hope for Glen Eira and Beyond 2017 Food Drive

2016 Collection Day – A Hall Full of Hope

On May 28th, Ormond Anglican will be joining together with some local churches for the 2017 Hope for Glen Eira and Beyond Food Drive. Last year we worked with you, the residents of Glen Eira, to raise $15,000 worth of food donations for community food banks. This year our goal is to raise $20,000 worth of food donations for those in need. We look forward to partnering with you in this initiative.

We are pleased to announce that the 2017 Food Drive is proudly supported by the Glen Eira City Council

2016 Testimonials

Open Hands, Carnegie Church of Christ:

It was fantastic to see the generosity of so many Glen Eira residents in contributing to this food drive. It shows that people are very kind-hearted and willing to help those less fortunate. A great big thank you to everyone who contributed! May it be the beginning of an ongoing tradition of caring for others in our community.

Community Information Glen Eira:

Such a wonderful donation, both in quality and quantity meant we could assist more Glen Eira residents in need and at the same time focus on our role of working with clients rather than sourcing food ourselves. It provided such a boost to our organisation which is stretched to its limits and meant we could continue to assist local people in need.

C-Care:

The donated goods have been a perfect fit for our pantry pack program aiding the disadvantaged within our community.

We thank the wonderful humans of Glen Eira for participating and sharing in this deed and for giving hope and comfort to people in need.
